PURPOSE:To achieve an accurately masked and trimmed copy constantly by adjusting the timing of masking and trimming operations according to data in a nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing a copying machine, the relative error between an actually masked and trimmed copying area and an area specified by coordinates X and Y through a ten key board, etc., is written and stored in the nonvolatile memory RAM 2 as adjusting (correcting) data. To mask and trim the area, a CPU 1 reads the correction data from the nonvolatile memory RAM 2, corrects the specified coordinates, and then masks and trims the area. Thus, the actually masked and trimmed copy can completely agree with the specified area. |
