NEW MATERIAL:A lymphocyte activating protein factor having physiological activity of providing mammalian lymphocyte with a liver restoring factor inducing ability USE:A preventive and remedy for hepatic disease. PREPARATION:For example, a mammal such a rat is subjected to operation of extracting 70% hepatic part, the liver is surgically damaged, then serum thereof is collected and subjected to immune electrophoresis with time. At a point of time of 1.5 hours having passed from the operation, after appearance of protein having about 680kDa molecular weight different from alpha fetoprotein is confirmed in portal vein, serum is collected after 24 hours, protein having 680kDa molecular weight is separated from the serum by a well-known method and purified to give a lymphocyte activating protein factor. |
