PURPOSE:To take only an accurately received and demodulated question signal into a response control means by transmitting a use enabling signal to permit a responder to take the received and demodulated question signal into the response control means at the time of coincidence between contents of the question signal and a received and demodulated response signal. CONSTITUTION:When the question signal is outputted from a microprocessor 8 and is correctly received by a responder 6, the response signal having the same contents as the question signal is transmitted from the resonder 6 to the interrogator 1. The question signal and the received and demodulated response signal are stored together in a comparing circuit 15 and are compared whether the contents of both signals coincide or not with each other at the time of terminating transmission of the question signal. When a coincidence signal is given, the microprocessor 8 outputs the use enabling signal. Thus, since an erroneous question signal is not taken into the microprocessor 26 of the responder 6, an erroneous response signal is not outputted in response to the erroneous question signal and the signal is not rewritten with erroneous information.
