PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to provide an operating part outside of a camera and to lower a cost by providing plural focusing detecting areas in a photographing screen, leading a photographing lens to a focusing position based on either of a focusing detecting output for the plural focusing detecting areas or a focusing detecting output for a single focusing detecting area in the plural focusing detecting areas. CONSTITUTION:A pair of switching pieces 17 and 19 is arranged on the right side of the assembled parts of the screens 12-1 and 12-2, and a contact pin 18 is mounted on a switching piece 17 positioned on the screen side. In this case, whether the screen 12-1 provided with a range-finding frame 8 which shows the plural focusing detecting areas 8A-8C for the camera, or the screen 12-2 provided with a range-finding frame 9 which shows the single focusing detecting area is loaded or not is detected. Then, the automatic focusing control of the photographing lens is performed according to the detected result based on the plural focusing detecting areas or the single focusing detecting area. Therefore, the operating part for selecting whether plural or one focusing detecting area is provided does not need to be provided outside of the camera, etc. |
