PURPOSE: To attain accurate and highly reliable drive of a motor, by placing an intermediate pole piece between main pole pieces, and providing the intermediate pole piece with an intermediate tooth meshed with, between a pole tooth and the opposite side. CONSTITUTION: A pole tooth of pole pieces 1, 2 is formed with a group of seven teeth having a stator pole pitchαS. An intermediate pole piece 7 is formed in a circular shape, accompanied by an intermediate tooth group 8 constituting air gaps 9, 10 between the pole pieces 1, 2. At the time of a pulse, a magnetic field extended in space adjacent to the air gap 9, 10 is associated with a rotor 11 formed by a disk or a ring, indicating multi-pole magnetization by an N/S pole alternately distributed in accordance with a magnetic field direction in parallel to an axis, that is, vertical to planes 1, 7, 2, 3 of a magnetic circuit. By providing the intermediate pole piece 7, at the time of a pulse, magnetic flux, generated in the space is guided strictly by the air gap 9 of bending pattern.
