PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of distribution of powder and lengthen the lifetime of a distribution equipment, by distributing the powder in a piled state or slightly fluidized state to cnvey the powder by air flow. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of distribution chambers defined by dividing the lower portion of a distribution equipment 1 by partition walls 1e, an intermediate gate 1d for opening and closing the open top of each distribution chamber, an air supply pipe 5 connected to the distribution chambers, and distribution pipes 6 for discharging a content out of the distribution chambers are provided. To effectuate the distribution and air conveyance of powder, a rotary valve 4 is operated while the intermediate gate 1d is shut. As a result, the powder in a storage vessel 2 is delivered to the upper chamber of the equipment 1. After a required amount of the powder is piled up on the gate 1d, it is opened so that the powder uniformly drops into the distribution chambers. After that, the gate 1d is closed and carrier gas is injected into the distibution chambers through the pipe 5 so that the powder is uniformly distributed and conveyed to a place of use through the distribution pipes 6. |
