<p>Carbapenem derivs. of formula (I) and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are prepd by reacting intermediates of formula (II) with thiol cpd. of formula HS-A-R14 in an inert solvent in the presence of base, and pref. removing protective gp.. In the formulas, R1= H, C1-10 alkyl, phenyl or aralkyl; R2= H or carboxyl protective gp.; R8= H; R14= N-contd. (un)aromatic hetero-ring that forms quaternary ammonium; A= cyclopentylene or opt. substd. C2-6 alkylene. (I) are useful as an antibiotics against gram positive and gram negative.</p> |
