<p>PURPOSE:To aim at the use efficiency of a shelf by commanding a computer for control to keep the maintenance of the structure from terminals to the shelf and securing a vacant shelf in response to the request for housing a load having high height at the operation of an automatic warehouse for housing a load having two kinds of height. CONSTITUTION:An operator 50 commands to a computer 40 for control to keep the maintenance of a shelf through a terminal 41 at the time of need. That is, at the time of need such as before starting of the housing work of everyday, the housing number of a load having high height is input from the terminal 41 on the basis of the work planning and the production planning of that day (or the due date) so as to secure a vacant shelf for housing the load having high height. At the time of warehousing and delivery work, when the warehousing/delivery command is given from the terminal 41, the computer 40 performes the warehousing/delivery work with a stacker crane 1, a conveyer 21 for warehousing and a conveyer 22 for delivery. At the time of warehousing work, when a detecting unit 35 finds that the load has high height and detecting units 36a, 36b detect that the width of the load is less than the predetermined, the load is housed in the shelf.</p> |
