In plane, this is shaped as a segment of a circle, and is diametrically opposite the tool. The sides of the segment slope at an angle of between 15 and 30 degrees. In the direction of rotation, the leading side is opposite the tool and the other side lags the tool. The base is connected by an arm (51) to a height adjustable collar (13).
