The device comprises a vessel 1 in which the flours and liquid constituting the feed are mixed, and in which the mixture is stored, and a pipe 13 for dispensing the feed to the troughs. According to the invention, two alternating piston pumps 4, 9 each supply, during one half-cycle, a circuit for dispensing the feed to the troughs and, during the other half-cycle, a circuit for supplying an agitation device for the feed in the vessel and for washing the upper part of the latter, the two pumps being associated such that, while one supplies one of the circuits, the second supplies the other circuit. The alternating operation of the pumps in the said circuits is organised by a system of conduits and valves. <IMAGE>
