PURPOSE:To perform constant scanning on a straight line even without an f-theta lens, by modulating a light source through the use of a recording clock varied stepwise in proportion to the speed of scanned light on a screen. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic clock generator 5 including a counter 41, a clock generator 42, and gate circuits 43-47 are excited with a scanning start signal transmitted from a photodetector 4. The counter 41 counts dynamic clocks transmitted from a signal line 50 when the scanning start signal is transmitted via a signal line 40, and a gate signal is outputted from signal lines 411-414 according to the number of counts. Clock pulse generated from the generator 42 in the relation of f1>f2>f3>f4 are gated at a signal from the counter 40 at the gate circuits 43-46, synthesized at an OR circuit 47 and transmitted as the dynamic clock of each scanning width from the signal line 50. |
