PURPOSE:To enhance preservability of images and preservability of undeveloped areas by incorporating at least one specified phenol compound. CONSTITUTION:At least one phenol compound of general formula (I) is incorporated in a thermal recording material comprising an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound. In the formula, each of R1, R2 and R3 is formula II, R4 is hydrogen or a 1-8C alkyl, R5 is a 3-8C alkyl, cycloalkyl or phenyl, R6 is hydrogen or a 1-8C alkyl, and each of l, m and n is 0, 1 or 2, with the proviso that all of l, m and n are not simultaneously 0. The thermal recording material comprises a thermal recording layer capable of forming a color when being heated, on a base. |
