<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device with a control means capable of automatic discharge to a fixed discharge port using a discriminating means for discriminating the feeding state in an image forming device with plural feeding states and discharge ports. CONSTITUTION:Among transfer sheets P, plain paper sheets P1 are fed from a cassette 1 and special sheets P2 are fed sliding on the upper surface of the cassette 1 manually. A paper existence detecting lever 2 provided such as to be in contact with the upper face of the plain paper sheets P1 stacked at the cassette 1 serves for a means for discriminating the feeding state. A means for changing over discharge ports according to the discriminated feeding state is formed of a flapper 41 provided on the downstream side of a fixer 16, a solenoid 42 for moving the flapper 41, and a spring for resetting the flapper 41, so that the discharge ports are changed over automatically. The switching errors made by a user and the troublesomeness of manual operation can be thus eliminated.</p> |
