This stand, intended to support a musical instrument or some other object, comprises a main post 11 on which there may slide an upper slide 30 to which are articulated the upper ends of the three branches 21, 22, 23. Each branch is connected to the lower part of the main post 40 by a respective swinging arm 26, 27, 28. One of the swinging arms 26 is longer than the other and articulated on its branch higher up than the articulation of the other swinging arms on the other branches. The result is that the movement of lowering the slide forces the branch 21 to move further away from the post, the support triangle changing from an equilateral triangle to an isosceles triangle, and the main post therefore inclining towards the side of the long swinging arm. <IMAGE> |
