PURPOSE:To fully suppress the foaming of powder resin at the part concerned by a method wherein the predetermined part of the surface of a powder resin layer is covered so as to shield infrared rays at the heating of the foaming agent containing powder resin layer adhered in a slush mold through the heat conduction from a mold surface and the irradiation by the infrared rays. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a second powder resin layer 28, which is adhered onto a non-foaming resin layer 27, is irradiated by infrared rays 30 with infrared heaters 26 arranged above the opening 21 of a slush mold. At the same time, the second powder resin layer 28 is heated through heated oil, which is circulated through a circulating pipe 20 arranged on the outer surface of the mold. At that time, a cover 32 made of metal plate or the like is provided above the second powder resin layer 28a, which adheres to the portion 18a of the mold surface, so as to prevent the infrared rays from striking the surface of the second powder resin layer 28a. Being heated by infrared rays and by heated oil from the mold surface, the second powder resin is melted and the foaming agent is thermally decomposed and foamed, resulting in forming a foamed resin layer on the non-foaming resin layer 27. However, the second powder resin layer 28a portion, which is shielded from the infrared rays by the cover 32, turns to a foamed resin layer, the foaming extent of which is low, since the thermal decomposition of the foaming agent at that portion is suppressed because of not being heated by the infrared rays. |
