PURPOSE:To attain low cost, by combining inexpensive A/D converters and forming and A/D converter taking a full-bit as effective bits as all times. CONSTITUTION:An analog input signal A is inputted to A/D converters 11, 12, and a maximum input signal voltage corresponding to 2<8> is given to the A/D converter 11 as a reference input V1 and a digital signal being N1 consisting of 8-bit is transmitted as a signal 110. The signal 110 is inputted to a D/A converter 13 to output an analog signal 130. This analog signal 130 is inputted as a refernce input V2 of the A/D converter 12 and the input signal is A/D-converted, allowing to obtain a digital signal being N2 as a signal 120. The digital signals 110, 120 are multiplied at a multiplier 14 to obtain a digital output of the input signal A. |
