The invention relates to a clamp which can be adjusted, particularly in terms of depth, for facade mounting of wall coverings. It is formed by a part serving as a bracket forming a passage for a smooth sliding rod 4, the said smooth sliding rod 4 is provided at one end with a safety stud, which acts as a stop in the end position, and at the other end with a pin which holds the covering slab in place, the angle plate is provided with an oblong hole which permits the height adjustment via a mounting dowel 10, a fan-type washer 11 and a screw 12; the means for blocking the rod 4 is a flange 24 which acts perpendicularly to the sliding rod 4 by blocking it against the bending or bracing zones of the bracket. The invention applies to the fixing clamps for mounting rigid wall coverings of the type including marble, granite and stone slabs. <IMAGE>
