The homogeneity problems of the resonating field of a NMR machine are solved by differentiating the polarization (B2) and resonance (B0) functions assigned to coils (1-2, 12-15) of the field of said machine. In order to create a magnetization, a polarization foil (1, 2) is used which produces a high field (B2). Said polarization field does not have to be homogeneous. Before effecting measurements, during excitation-measurement sequences, of the electromagnetic wave in the scanned body, the polarization field is switched (18-3) in order to cancel it, and the body (4) is subjected to a resonance field (B0). Said resonance field may be much lower and yet much more homogeneous. Thus, by using a switching of the orienting field the noise signal of the detected signal (5, 7) is preserved.
|
