High quality processing for electrophotographic masters - with two=stage process to ensure accurate metering of process fluids

The process system has a first stage in which the process fluid is applied. A set amount of fluid is then removed and a metering system monitors the required amount of fluid. This is then topped up in the second stage to ensure accurate procsesing. The surplus fluid is returned to the first stage for reuse. The photoresist is removed in the second stage by brushing. The second application of processing fluid is at a programmed rate and with a set thickness. This fluid has an alkaline product. The process layer has a conducting base of polished- and anodised aluminium. ADVANTAGE - High quality layers, minimum damage risk to process layer.
