Bubble-proof liq. flowmeter independent of pipe orientation - enables gas bubbles to by=pass oscillation channel in which frequency is measured pref. by electronic sampling
摘要
Inlet and outlet couplings (2,3) are joined by a flow tube (4) to which a circular oscillation channel (7) is connected at a point (8) between the fluidic gate nozzle (10) and a separator (12). Frequency of the oscillatory current is sampled (14) while the liq. flows always in the same direction (A). The pressure difference between inlet and outlet planes (16,17) drives the flow so that small bubbles (15) move rapidly along a path (a) to the top of the housing (1) if the inlet and outlet levels are the same. Otherwise bubbles pass unhindered to the outlet (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - In a fluidic-gate type flowmeter. Very accurate measurement unperturbed by gas bubbles is achieved regardless of whether the device is installed in a horizontal or a vertical section of pipe.
