The fold-up box comprises a base wall (A), and side walls (B and C) forming parts of one cohesive panel whereby the side walls are connected to the base wall by fold lines. The side walls have corner points (18) for mutual connection in the upright position. The corner points are formed in one piece with two adjoining side walls and are divided by a fold line (32) originating in a point (22) where the adjoining edges of the side walls abut, into two parts (18.1, 18.2) of which one (18.2) is connected to the side wall (C) by a corresponding side wall part (C3) which is designed as an end part of one side wall not divided into two sections and the other part (18.1) is connected by an intermediate member (B3) and associated fold lines (24,26) to a side edge of the overflow corner point (B2) of the other side wall. USE/ADVANTAGE - A type of oblique-angled harmonica connection is formed between two adjoining side walls in the corner connecting area whereby a common swivelling of the side walls and insert connection occurs on folding up the box.
