PURPOSE:To enable a free checking by a person in charge of installation work by sending retrieval information via a work wiring and using a portable terminal equipment to check the wiring installation. CONSTITUTION:A portable terminal equipment 9 is connected to a relay terminal 98, a subscriber line call circuit 91 is operated manually, then the terminal is connected to an ORT 12 at the exchange side. An exchange side identifies a call line to be a line under installation based on an accommodated position of a subscriber line to reconnect the ORT 12 into an MFOST 13, thereby sending subscriber line accommodation location information from the OST 13 to the terminal equipment 9 through the combination of MF signals. The terminal equipment 9 displays the information to an I/O 94 for MFREC via an MFREC 92. Then a CPU 93 reads the information to retrieve an installation wiring check data of a subscriber line from a memory 95. |
