The case, especially for spectacles, has two trough-shaped casing-sections (1, 2) hinged together on their back sides, and fastened by a fastening on their front sides. At least one of the casing-sections has a groove (4,5) on the outside, in which runs an insertion-piece fixed to the casing-section. The surface of each groove (4, 5) has a flexible coating with curved edge. ADVANTAGE - The spectacles case is cheap to produce but attractive to look at. (5pp Dwg.No.2/4)
