In the case of a frame arrangement for printed circuit boards, metallic base plates and cover plates are joined together via two electrically conductive side panels on which grooves are provided for the circuit boards to be pushed into. While one side panel is arranged in a fixed manner, the other can be displaced and fixed along guide rails on the cover plate and base plate. The displacement is carried out via a mechanism which ensures that the side panels are absolutely parallel during the displacement.
