Electrical switches are known which have a housing, a switching element (which is mounted in the housing such that it can move, especially rotate, and has a plurality of switching positions), as well as a latching curve and a latching stud (which rests thereon), as latching elements which consist of plastic. One of the latching elements belongs to a switching element and the second to a latching lever which is held on the housing at one end and can be deflected against the force of a spring.
