The invention relates to a bellows gas meter with two chambers in which movable walls or diaphragms are arranged and with a camshaft, driven jointly by the diaphragms via linkages, for the control of two slides releasing or closing the chamber openings via linkages. The core of the invention is that the camshaft carries a plate, and that a device for temperature compensation is arranged on the plate so as to be adjustable about the axis of the camshaft and includes two bimetallic assemblies and a sliding piece arranged in a guide element so as to be displaceable, the two bimetallic assemblies being arranged between a fixed stop and an adjustable stop and the sliding piece having a tongue engaging between the bimetallic assemblies and a crank journal on which the linkage parts adjustable by the diaphragms engage.
