In order to ensure, while maintaining an easily operable and, if required, re-releasable fastening of the reel on the handle part, that said reel can be fastened optionally at various points on the handle part relative to the longitudinal direction of the same, the invention provides that the position of the clamping pieces (9, 14) of the reel foot (12) relative to the longitudinal direction (29, 31) of the handle part can be changed by spacer pieces (15) which can be fitted between the clamping pieces (9, 14), on the one hand, and abutments (2, 3) of the handle part (1) of the fishing rod, on the other hand, it being possible to shift the clamping pieces in the longitudinal direction of the handle part, and that a first abutment (2) is fixedly fitted on the handle part, and the second abutment (3) is formed as a pressure piece which can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the handle part. <IMAGE>
