PURPOSE:To effectively use an automatic answering telephone set function by composing the title terminal equipment of a master telephone set having respective radio signal transmitting and receiving means and a portable slave telephone set. CONSTITUTION:A conventional automatic answering telephone set body 2 is positioned as the master telephone set, and a slave telephone set 13 for this master telephone set 2 is newly provided. Further, a radio signal transmitting and receiving circuit 11 and a transmitting and receiving antenna 12 are newly provided in the master telephone set 2, and the slave telephone set 13 is composed of a radio signal transmitting and receiving circuit 14, a central control circuit 15, a transmitting and receiving antenna 16, a buzzer 17, and a power source 18 which can be charged. Further, when the master telephone set 2 receives an incoming call from the side of a caller, the master telephone set 2 transmits an incoming call received signal to the slave telephone set 13 by a radio channel, decides the distance between the master telephone set 2 and the slave telephone set 13 from time up to a time of day where the master telephone set 2 receives the response signal, generates a response message to indicate that a callee is absent or under a response preparing state according to the distance, and sends the message to the side of the caller. Thus, the automatic answering telephone set function can be surely actuated, and the function can be effectively used. |
