Fuel distributor blank - designed as tubular pressure die casting with several short inclined branches

The tubular blank for the fuel distributor of an i.c. engine has an axial fuel passage with several short side branches which branch off an an angle. Each includes an internal seat for a metering and atomising valve. One end of the blank has a radial extension with a seat for a pressure regulator and with two blind holes at right angle to the centre line. The entire blank is a pressure die casting of metal. ADVANTAGE - This distributor is easy to produce at low cost and requires little machining. A constant thin wall reduces the shrinkage and is homogeneous without porosity.
