PURPOSE:To obtain a light fixture with an excellent uniformity display face by providing a gap guiding the light from a light source between a light guiding plate and the inside face of a housing and providing a light shielding section reflecting the light reflected on the inside face of the housing on the back of the light guiding plate near the light source. CONSTITUTION:A light shielding plate 10 serving as a light shielding section is arranged over the whole length in the longitudinal direction of a light guiding plate 7 on the upper section of the back of the light guiding plate 7 near a lamp 4. The light guiding plate 7 is nearly 1/2 of a housing 1 in thickness, and the display plate 3 side apart from the lamp 4 below is inclined so that the light guided into the light guiding plate 7 is easily refracted and sent out. The light guided into a gap 8 between the inside face of the housing 1 and the light guiding plate 7 is prevented by the light shielding plate 10 from being reflected on the inside face of the housing 1, and the reflected light is prevented from being fed to the light guiding plate 7. The vicinity of the lamp 4 of the display plate 3 is illuminated by only the light directly guided to the light guiding plate 7 from the lamp 4. The light guided into the gap 8 between the inside face of the housing 1 and the light guiding plate 7 is reflected at points P1, P2 and P3 and enters the light guiding plate 7 at a point P4 and goes out to the display plate 3 side at a point P5. |
