Hand-held apparatus for applying marking rings onto lead wires

A hand-held apparatus is used for applying slotted marking rings (2) from a supporting rod (1) onto an electrical lead wire (3). A slide (13) which can be displaced in a grip housing (4) has a pushing claw (15) which grips in each case one marking ring (2) and pushes the latter onto the lead wire (3). In this case, the supporting rod (1) is anchored at its rear end (1b) in the grip housing (4), by means of an anchoring device (7). The movement of the slide (13) is transmitted to the feed body (16) via a toothed rod (19) which is guided in the grip housing (4) such that it can move longitudinally, which feed body (16) rests against the last marking ring (2) in each case and moves all the marking rings (2) step by step forwards so that the next marking ring (2) can in each case be gripped by the pushing claw (15) of the slide (13). <IMAGE>
