PURPOSE:To clearly display a boundary between an item name and an item by expressing a vertical ruled line between item names and items in a table and horizontal ruled lines differently from other ruled lines in the case of forming a table by a tabulating means. CONSTITUTION:The 1st deciding means 106 calculates the positions of start ends and terminal ends of vertical and horizontal ruled lines on the basis of a tabulating data temporarily stored in a temporary storage means 103. The vertical and horizontal ruled line positioned between the item names and items in the table formed by the tabulating means 104 for forming a table consisting of vertical and horizontal ruled lines by connecting respective start ends and respective terminal ends are set up ruled line different from other ruled line. When a table is formed by the means 104, the vertical and horizontal lines positioned between the item names and the items are set up differently from other ruled lines. Consequently, the boundary between the item names and items can be clearly displayed.
