PURPOSE:To make an exposure correct in the case of executing flash photographing by constituting the level controller so that the larger a ratio of a main object occupied on a photographing screen is, the higher the dimming level becomes. CONSTITUTION:When a program is executed by following up a release operation, a CPU 21 decides a vertical position, a horizontal position and an upward state, etc., of a camera by attitude signals from attitude sensors 10a - 10d. In this state, the level correction quantity is set by adding a prescribed quantity in the case of the vertical position, and by decreasing a prescribed quantity in case of the horizontal position and the upward state. Subsequently, based on the set level correction quantity, a level adjusting signal is generated and sent out to a level setting device 41. In such a way, the larger the ratio of a man object to be photographed occupied on a photographing screen is large, the higher the dimming level can be made, and an exposure in case of executing flash photographing becomes correct. |
