<p>The system comprises a rail-fitted runway and a plurality of moving trolleys (CT) which are movable on the runway; each trolley is provided with a core (M) which interacts magnetically, by means of an air gap (t), with the rail of the runway so that each core and the rail constitute the inductor-armature pair of individual asynchronous linear motors powered with multiple-phase alternating current which generates a magnetic vector which moves in the direction of motion of the trolley. The rail is preferably made of non-magnetic material which includes an insert (123) made of magnetic material and is formed by two superimposed double-T-shaped portions (110a-110b); one portion is adapted to accommodate the sliding rollers (115) and the lateral retention rollers (121) of the trolley, and the other portion is adapted to contain the means (124-129) for supplying the core magnetization current.</p> |
