PURPOSE:To grasp the progressing state of an optical sheet when the sheet is again used because its own optical sheet can store the processing state by forming a progressing state storing section on the sheet. CONSTITUTION:On the side of the data recording section 1a of an optical sheet 1, a progress state storing section 1b is formed of a magnetic material by printing along the moving direction of the sheet 1. As the sheet 1 is read, a thermal head 14 is driven by means of a thermal head driving circuit 15 and the storing section 1b is changed to black. When the optical sheet 1 is inserted into a device for reading after the reading of the sheet 1 is stopped on the way, the reflected light from the section 1b is made incident on an optical fiber 16 facing the section 1b, and inputted to a digital computer 10 after the light is converted into electric signals by means of a phototransistor 17. As a result, the part changed to black is read, and the progressed position at present can be confirmed easily. |
