<p>The invention relates to a bridge-laying vehicle of the type having a chassis (1), two bridge elements (3, 4) disposed on this chassis and capable of forming a single-span bridge when assembled end to end, and means adapted in order to displace these bridge elements (3, 4) so as to position them end to end, assemble these bridge elements and deposit them at the front of the vehicle. According to the invention, the bridge elements (3, 4) comprise junction faces (3c, 4c) which are inclined so as to define a dihedron which is open towards the bottom when these bridge elements are positioned end to end. Moreover, the vehicle comprises pivoting means (13) adapted in order to cause the bridge elements (3, 4) to pivot relative to one another so as to place the inclined junction faces (3c, 4c) side by side and to obtain a bridge endowed with a camber, and assembling means adapted in order to lock these junction faces (3c, 4c) in the position of the bridge elements (3, 4) forming the camber. <IMAGE></p> |
