<p>Said bristle being formed preferably from a synthesized polymer, a co-polymer, or an alloy or mixture of synthetic polymers. A synthetic bristle manufactured by injecting a blowing agent into a melt of polymer prior to extrusion and subsequent drawing. This provides a synthetic bristle, particularly suited for paint brushes, which has the properties of natural bristles, such as an irregular surface texture for paint retention, whilst retaining also the desirable characteristics of synthetic bristles, such as good water and abrasion resistance.</p> |
