摘要 PURPOSE: To effectively wash a silica-based chromatography adsorbent by using a caustic alkaline agent dissolved in the water of a specified pH and a caustic alkaline solution which contains Al or Ga ion. CONSTITUTION: An anion exchange chromatography agent, especially a silica- based chromatography sorption agent, can be washed in NaOH or KOH solution doped with Al salt or Ga salt of column stabilization effective amount or such caustic alkaline solution as NH4 OH solution. For example, Al is added as Al(NO3 )3 in the range 0.0005N-0.1N. The caustic alkaline solution is of pH range of 8 or above. Selection of caustic alkaline agent in concentration range 0.1N-1N, pH13 or above, is more effective. With this configuration, a silica is not substantially dissolved, so a silica-contained chromatography sorption agent can be washed, for extended effective life of column.
