发明名称 HEATING MEDIUM FLOW RATE CONTROL DEVICE FOR HEAT PUMP AND HEAT PIPE
摘要 PURPOSE:To control the quantity of heat transfer in a heat pipe by a simple construction by performing the control of the heating medium flow rate by means of the movement of a magnetic fluid brought about by the movement of the magnetic flux generating part. CONSTITUTION:The heating medium vapor 5 which has absorbed the heat and evaporated in the evaporator section 7 is caused to release the heat and condense in the condenser section 8 disposed above the former, and the condensed liquid heating medium is returned to the evaporator section 7 by the capillary pressure of the wick section 6. A continuous array type electromagnet 10 comprising first to fourth electromagnets 11-14 is disposed around the exterior of the evaporator section 7 and the heat insulator section 9 of the pipe body proper 2, while a magnetic fluid 15 is sealed inside the pipe body proper 2. When the electromagnets 11-14 are OFF, the magnetic fluid 15 is positioned in the lower part of the evaporator section 7 due to its own weight to settle in the bottom, where the heat transfer takes place by means of the circulation of the heating medium 5. In order to stop the heat transfer, the first to fourth electromagnets 11-14 are sequentially turned ON from the lower one to the upper one.
