The method for forming a knife blade for shaving leather includes processes of: bending steel plate, heating the bended steel plate up to 1350 C, making it pass through a plurality of rollers, and spraying cooling water while passing through the rollers so that 0.1mm thick hardened layer can be formed. The apparatus comprises a column which has a screw correspondent to the pitch of the knife blade, female rollers having steps, and male rollers, inserted into the steps formed in the female rollers.
