PURPOSE:To easily process a high reflection material by providing a wire which rotates within the plane perpendicular to the optical axis of a laser beam to an optical path 3, reflecting the beam reflected from a work to a detector side and controlling the output of a laser oscillator and the moving speed of the work by the detection signal of the detector. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam 2 oscillated from the laser oscillator 1 is condensed onto the work 10. The work 10 is processed by controlling the movement of a processing head 8 and a table 11 by an NC device 18. The reflected beam 2' reflected from the surface of the work 10 travels backward on the optical path 3 but is reflected by the surface of the wire 15 rotating at a constant speed so as to cross the optical path 3 and arrives at the detector 16 if the work 10 is the high reflection material such as Al or Cu. The detection signal is generated in the detector 16 and is inputted through an amplifier 17 to the NC device 18. The NC device 18 decreases the reflected beam 2' by controlling the laser output of the laser oscillator and the moving speed of the table 11 by a servo motor 12 according to the detection signal. |
