PURPOSE:To commonly use the components of each unit in the captioned air conditioner in which a cooling unit and a condenser unit are placed on the roof of a vehicle by forming the sectional forms of evaporators and condensers into the same shape and using the blowers of the same shape and same machine type. CONSTITUTION:In nearly a box-shaped cooler case 2 installed nearly in the center position of the roof of a vehicle such as a large bus, etc., the inside is partitioned in front and in rear via a partition wall 3, with a front heat-exchanger chamber 4 being formed a little larger than a rear heat-exchanger chamber 5. A pair of condensers 27, 27 forming a condenser unit CB is provided on both sides in the front heat- exchanger chamber 4, while providing a plurality of blowers 28 on the insides of both. Also, a pair of evaporators 29, 29 forming a cooling unit CA are provided on both sides in the rear heat-exchanger chamber 5 and in the coaxial positions with the installing positions of the condensers 27, 27, while providing a plurality of blowers 30 similar to the blowers 28 on the insides of both. The sectional forms of the condenser 27 and evaporator 29 are formed in the same shape. Hence, the layout of the condensers 27, 27 and evaporators 29, 29 can be simplified facilitating the installing operation thereof while, on the other hand, since the weight thereof can be uniformly distributed right and left, the traveling stability of the vehicle 1 can be obtained. |
