PURPOSE:To efficiently make hot water for beverage and sterilize a container by providing a sterilizing container for sterilizing, for example, a beverage container for nursing and a hot-water supply vessel for storing hot water having temp. suitable for making nursing milk (beverage) to the main body of a hot-water supply apparatus in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When nursing milk is prepared, water is received in a hot-water supply vessel 4 and a sterilizing container 3 is mounted thereon and nursing containers 2 are received in said container 3 to apply a lid 32 to the container 3. When a power supply is closed, a current is supplied to a heater 29 to heat the water in the hot-water supply vessel 4 and, when the water is boiled, steam enters the sterilizing container 3 from a steam port 33 to perform the steam sterilization of the nursing containers 2. The hot-water supply vessel 4 is naturally cooled because the supply of a current to the heater is stopped by a temp. sensor 14 after boiling and, when hot water becomes proper temp. (50 deg.C), the heater 14 is again turned ON and OFF by the temp. control due to the temp. sensor 14 to hold hot water to proper temp. The lid 32 is detached at the time of nursing and the nursing containers 2 are taken out of the sterilizing container 3 and milk is injected in a nursing bottle while the sterilizing container 3 is detached from the hot-water supply vessel 4 and the hot water in the hot-water supply vessel 4 is injected in the nursing bottle to make it possible to prepare nursing milk. |
