<p>PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently manufacture a coated article having a beautiful external appearance by detachably attaching aggregate to the horizontal face of a male mold, intruding a coating material with the aggregate into a female mold while evacuating in vacuum a female mold chamber, forming a recess on the coating material, and applying the coating material to the aggregate by means of pressurized air and vacuum. CONSTITUTION:After a coating material 3 is heated to a predetermined temperature, an aggregate 2 is attached to the holding member 66 of a male mold chamber 61 with the coating face 2a disposed at its lower side. The whole surface and the rear face 2b of the coating face 2 of the aggregate 2 are coated in advance with adhesive. A male mold chamber 51 is evacuated in vacuum, the material 3 is sucked into the female mold, the chamber 61 is simultaneously moved downward, the material 3 is pressed to a female mold 52 by the aggregate 2 to insert the aggregate 2 into the recess 5. In this case, an emboss is transferred to the inner face of the mold 52. The material 3 is separated from the mold 52 by means of pressurized air from a pressurized air blowing tube 55 and a sucking force from the vacuum hole 63 or a male mold 62, and the material 3 adheres to the whole face of the coating face 2a of the aggregate 2.</p> |
