PURPOSE:To obtain a patterned molded product capable of applying a picture pattern even to a complicated curved surface by flattening a forming mold made of a shape memorizing resin in a recessed form with external force, coating the mold with an ink, recovering the mold into the recessed form and casting a fluid material thereinto. CONSTITUTION:A forming mold, made of a shape memorizing resin and formed into a desired recessed form is heated to a specific temperature or above, flattened with external force and directly cooled below the above-mentioned specific temperature to keep the flat state. The flat part to be the recessed part of the forming mold is then coated with an ink and subsequently heated to the afore-mentioned specific temperature or above to recover the recessed form. The resultant mold is then recooled below the above-mentioned specific temperature and a fluid material is cast into the recessed part, cooled and solidified. In the process for solidifying, the ink is transferred to the surface of the fluid material. The obtained patterned molded product with the transferred ink is subsequently demolded and the forming mold can be then heated above the specific temperature and reprocessed into the flat form. Thereby, the patterned molded product can be subsequently produced. |
