PURPOSE:To obtain the title sintered compact of specific structure, useful as a superconducting member or resistor form, high in mechanical strength by forming a mixed raw material comprising ZnO powder and crystallized Bi-Sr-Ca- Cu-O-based superconducting oxide powder followed by sintering. CONSTITUTION:A mixed raw material comprising ZnO powder and crystallized Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O-based superconducting oxide powder is formed into a specified shape, which is then sintered at 1050-1200 deg.C, thus obtaining the objective sintered compact having structure with ZnO as the main skeleton and the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O- based superconducting oxide made to continuously exist as grain boundary- defining phase on the crystal grain boundary of the ZnO. |
