<p>The present invention is novel 1,4-dihydro-pyridine derivatives having activity as calcium antagonists useful for the treatment of cardiovascular disorders. More particularly, the invention includes preferred compounds which in addition to the usefulness associated with calcium antagonism also exhibit positive inotropic effect without the usual accompanying negative inotropic effect. Thus, the preferred compounds additionally provide beneficial increased myocardial activity.</p> |
