PURPOSE:To obtain the subject heat accumulating composition with an arbitrary temperature of latent-heat generation stable enough to endure many duty-cycle operations by blending sodium acetate trihydrate with ethylene glycol and a water absorb polymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) Sodium acetate trihydrate is used as the main agent and (B) ethylene glycol as a regulator of melting point is blended therewith. (C) A water absorb polymer as a stabilizer for phase separation is added to the resultant mixture in an amount of 0.5-10wt.% (preferably 2-6wt.%) based on the sum total between the components (A) and (B), thus obtaining the objective composition. The melting point of the above-mentioned composition can be freely controlled, e.g., between about 55 deg.C and 30-35 deg.C by adjusting the content of the component (B). |
