<p>PURPOSE:To replace only an IC module part in an easy manner if an IC incorporated in an IC card is damaged by an external stress or the like by fastening the IC module part to a card substrate with screws. CONSTITUTION:In an IC module part 21, an IC chip 22 and an IC module-side electrode 23 are incorporated in the state that they are connected with a metal fine wire 24. On the side parts of the IC module part 21, flange parts 25 are formed with screw holes 26. A card substrate 27 is provided with a containing part 28 thereon, which is formed into a shape corresponding to an outside shape of the IC module part 21, and seat parts 29, which are fitted to the flange parts 25, at the open edge part thereof. After the IC module part 21 is loaded in the containing part 28 of the card substrate 27, screws 35 inserted into the screw holes 26 are screwed into the seat parts 29 and fastened ; in this manner, the IC module part 21 is fixed to the card substrate 27. Thus, the IC module part 21 can be easily replaced by detaching the screws 35, and a card function can be regenerated with a low cost.</p> |
