PURPOSE:To permit arbitrary setting of the ratio of a spring constant in each direction by forming more thickness of an outer cylinder member at the portion, where elastic rubber is valcanized and adhered, than that of the outer cylinder member at the portion where the elastic rubber is not valcanized and adhered. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder member 1 has a supported bracket 6 arranged in the periphery thereof and an outer cylinder member 2 has thick portions 2c, 2c formed on mutually-opposed faces and at the portion where elastic rubbers 3, 3 are valcanized and adhered. Spring constants in a (P) direction and an axial direction, possessed by a vibration isolating bush 30, can be determined by the thickness of the thick portions 2c, 2c of the outer cylinder member 2 and the shape and the size of the elastic rubber 3. By changing the thickness T1 of the thick portions 2c, 2c, the ratio of the spring constant in each direction can be arbitrarily set. |
